German PPK - 007's Automatic Pistol, #22-1277.
PPK Automatic Pistol Replica
- Our non-fring replica of this iconic 20th Century automatic pistol have working slides and removable clips, but cannot be disassembled. Black with checkered black composite grips.
HISTORY: First introduced in the 1930s, the PPK is used by police forces worldwide, and was popular with WWII German officers who were able to get one. But the PPK is most famous as James Bond's handgun of choice in countless movies, which is ironic, since British Spy "007" is a fictional character.
The PPK was also the sidearm of choice for another man who unfortunately wasn't fictional. In fact, it was Hitler's personal PPK with which he chose to kill Eva Braun, then himself, in his Berlin bunker as Russian troops closed in on the city.
