MP41 German SMG
- The MP41 is identical to the MP40 Schmeisser, except it has a wooden stock instead of metal. Our non-firing replica is authentic in every detail. The bolt, trigger, and selector switch all work, and the clip is removable. Available with or without the optional sling. To add the sling, click "add sling" in the dropdown option box.
HISTORY: The MP41, manufactured by Haenl, was identical in all respects to the MP40 Maschinenpistole Schmeisser used by German troops during WWII, except it had a wood stock instead of metal. Used by German paramilitary police units like the SS, the wood stocks allowed the butts to be used as clubs to quell rioting. Like the MP40, it was fully automatic, but with a low rate of fire and low recoil. Even though full automatic fire was its only setting, single shots were possible with controlled trigger pulls, due to the low rate of fire.
